I was thinking, which doesn't happen very often and is usually very scary... What if we started doing things like the Xbox Live Calendar? http://www.xbox.com/en-US/community/calendar/default.htm
We could schedule regular gaming events across any platforms. This would allow us to individually represent GFL on nights we can plan for. I'm thinking about An Aion night, as well as a Combat Arms Night. I'm also looking at representing GFL in MAG on the PS3.
Anybody have cool thoughts on how we can have fun as a community across the different platforms?
The floor is open.

| It's too bad it's so hard to cooperate together when it comes to the Wii. But as far as PC games go, count me out, as well as anything to do with the PS3, as I am without owning it. However, Xbox? Count me in.

It's not about just any one specific person or JUST the current GFL group. Make some friends and bring them to GFL As to the Xbox - I am all for it, if I have the game

| Yea. I rarely touch it. That's the downside of a free to play game...I don't feel "obligated" to play.

I am all for getting everyone together for gaming however it seems like everytime we do either very few people show up or they show up and stop coming shortly after that.
Case and point ( Aion ), there for a while we were all on and now I think my GF and I are the only ones who play even semi regular. We have seen Zapp on from time to time however that is about it.
I think to get a better idea on what we can play and when we should get a complete run down of people's schedules. I don't know about anyone else but I have my play times pretty much down to a science such as;
7AM - 8AM EST Combat Arms Monday - Friday
9AM - 10AM EST PS3 Various ( Currently FF 13 still ) Monday - Friday
11AM - 5PM EST Sleeping Monday - Friday
6PM - 8PM EST FFXI / Aion ( Have them both going ) Monday - Friday
9PM - 7AM EST Working Monday - Friday
Friday 8PM - 1AM EST FFXI Events
Sunday Noon EST FFXI Events
That is a small break down of what I am normally doing. Obviously it's not always 100% correct as things change but you can see where I am availabe and such.

What I intended by this was to grow the community by posting when you play regularly, and inviting others to join you, as well as making new friends in the game that are willing to join you here.
It's more of a recruiting goal than anything. We haven't had anybody new in a few months now...

Ah I see what you are saying. I Actually have been doing that for a while now. Any other forums I have accoutns for my signature always includes the GFL name and link along with people I work with which are game crazy people. I have also started to pull people I meet in game however it appears they aren't visiting the site as I told them.
I am also trying to bring in a crowd with aquiring Beta keys from some higher profile games like Starcraft 2 for example. . . I got my Beta key already but I am working on trying to get lets say 5 to contest out ( bringing in a ton of traffic ).

That would be awesome! That would definitely drive some traffic!
I'll probably be online tonight after 8pm EST if you guys want to hit me up for something to play.

| I've plugged this place a couple times on the air when I did SMYN, and like I said, no one's ever gonna see me when it comes to PC games. But hey, maybe we can plan something with MKWii or Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. Fantastic game right there.

| We're looking at buying Sonic All Stars for Missy. Not sure if we'll get the Wii or 360 version though.
